We’ve just wrapped up our time at EDIFICA Chile, and it has been an incredibly fruitful exhibition for our team!
It was fantastic to meet so many industry players in person. Over the course of the show, we spoke with over 100 builders, project owners and distributors across Latin America.
Face-to-Face with the Latin American Market
Many visitors came to our booth to learn about our flat-pack container houses and expandable modular units — ideal for mining camps, construction site accommodation, remote worker housing and small commercial spaces.
What do buyers in the region actually need? The questions we heard most often were practical ones:
- How many units fit into one container, and what does that mean for freight cost?
- How fast can a unit be assembled on site, and what equipment is required?
- How do the panels perform in desert heat, coastal humidity and high-altitude conditions?
- Which certifications and technical documents are available for local approval?
- How are spare parts and after-sales support handled locally?
From Conversations to Real Orders
Face-to-face conversations made all the difference. We got to understand each client’s unique project pain points, discuss layout options and go over certification and delivery details. Best of all, these discussions translated into real progress: we locked in several upcoming purchase orders for our flat-pack and expandable homes.
Building a Local Partner Network
Beyond direct buyer deals, we also connected with reliable local manufacturers. These new partnerships will help us offer better localised support for clients in Chile and surrounding regions, cutting lead times and improving on-site service.
More Than Just a Trade Show
