Day One at EDIFICA 2026: The Full Product Line-Up at Stand 1-L12

Santiago, Chile. EDIFICA 2026 opens today. Global Container (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. is on Stand 1-L12 with the full range — from flat-packed detachable units to double-wing expandable houses — covering camps, job sites, commercial use and hospitality. Here is what can be inspected unit by unit on the stand.

1. Detachable container house

Standard size 5950 × 3000 × 2800 mm, with length, width and height configurable per project. Galvanised steel frame; wall panels in rock wool, glass wool, EPS, polyurethane (PIR) or magnesium board at 50 / 75 / 100 mm; flooring 15 or 18 mm. Shipped flat and assembled by a small crew on site — the standard choice for rows of camp and site accommodation.

2. Flat-pack container unit

Standard size 6000 × 3000 × 2840 mm, slightly taller internally than the detachable unit, which suits standing work and wall-mounted cabinets. Same flat-packed, site-assembled structure, and it can be stacked in multiple levels.

3. Expandable container house

Travels at single-container width; on site both wings open and the usable floor area multiplies. No wet trades and no heavy plant are needed to deploy it. Used for accommodation, reception, showrooms and temporary retail. The expansion mechanism and sealing details can be examined on the stand.

4. Flat roof expandable

The same expansion logic with a flat roof and a more architectural appearance — common in commercial frontage, sales suites and tourism projects.

5. X-type and Z-type folding containers

Both fold for transport and unfold on site; the difference lies in the folding structure and how the panels stow. Built for projects that relocate frequently — the same box can move between two sites, with freight charged on the folded volume.

6. Luxury and Apple Cabin range

For resorts, cabin camps and leisure retail: full-height glazed facades with dark frames, delivered as finished units and ready once craned into place and connected.

7. Prefab outdoor kitchen

This year's new line, in two versions: hydraulic fold-out canopy and roll-up shutter. Each unit includes the worktop, grill, sink and storage, for backyards, poolside areas, terraces and camp common areas — designed to sell alongside the container houses.

8. Four things you can verify on site

• Panel type and thickness: specified by climate — coastal salt exposure and high-altitude cold are handled differently.
• Electrical and sanitary fit-out: factory-installed or completed on site, depending on the destination country's approval requirements.
• Loading quantity: the number of units per 40HQ varies a lot between models and drives the landed cost per unit.
• Lead time: standard and custom configurations run on different production slots, and this can be confirmed at the booth.
