GCH Opens 2027 Flat Pack Programme for Peru with a 6 × 3 m Bolted Module
Notizie dettagliate

Global Container (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. (GCH) has opened its 2027 programme for the detachable flat pack container house in Peru. The module measures 6,000 × 3,000 × 2,840 mm, ships as panels and frame members in a 40HQ container, and is bolted on site with hand tools — no welding, no wet trade, no crane, no powered site.

What the Specification Actually Buys

Measured steel, not quoted steel. Profiles run 2.2 / 2.45 / 2.75 / 3.0 mm, 4.0 mm on request — against 1.45–2.1 mm low-end. Galvanising is 60 g/m² double-dip, upgradable to 300 g/m² for coastal sites; low-end offers 40 g. Corner blocks are 4.0 mm galvanised, where low-end units use 3.2–3.5 mm black iron — the first part to rust.

  • Colour coil: Huada “Traffic White”, 20 g zinc, 18 miu PE, 8+ years; corner trim from the same coil, so colour does not drift.
  • Powder coating: virgin powder at 80 miu and above, 5-year warranty, colours selectable.
  • Flooring: Grade A only — B-grade board migrates salts and corrodes the frame irreversibly.
  • Insulation: glass wool at 11 kg/m³ (low-end 8.8 kg/m³); stainless self-tapping screws throughout.

Weight is the one number a salesperson cannot type in. A genuinely 2.2–3.0 mm frame with 60 g galvanising weighs 1.3 t bare. If a quote claims premium steel and delivers 0.8–0.9 t, one number is wrong.

Loading, and Why It Decides the Project

How many flat pack container houses fit in a 40HQ is the first question buyers ask — and it sets the real cost per m². A 40HQ takes 16–17 sets, or 288–306 m² of floor area. Conventional flat pack modules of similar size load about 8 sets, or 144 m² — double the freight per square metre delivered. GLOBAL issues the loading plan with the quotation; panel thickness, window count, galvanising weight and floor grade are specified per order.

Customisation

Dimensions, galvanising to 300 g/m², profiles to 4.0 mm, panel core and thickness, door and window counts, colour and floor grade are set per project. For highlands above roughly 3,800 m, the quoted build is 100–150 mm rock wool or PU/PIR with an insulated floor.

Where It Is Being Quoted

Peru’s housing deficit is put at 1.9 million families; the ministry’s land bank — 53 parcels, 2,872 hectares — carries 165,464 homes, about 12% of it. The module is quoted for Andean campamento minero projects needing 40 units in two to three containers, and for permanent small units on parcels with water, power and road access.

FAQ

  • How many flat pack container houses fit in a 40HQ? 16–17, equal to 288–306 m² of floor area.
  • What is the clear internal height? 2,500 mm inside a 2,840 mm envelope; a 2,600 mm box loses that headroom with floor and ceiling fitted.
  • Can the module be dismantled and re-erected? Yes — the frame is bolted, not welded.
  • Which panel for a container house for a high altitude site? 100–150 mm rock wool or PU/PIR with an insulated floor above roughly 3,800 m; 50 mm EPS is a coastal or lowland build.
  • Is there a published casas contenedor precio Peru list? No — price follows specification, quoted per order.
