CONSTRUTEC 2026: Modular Buildings and Site Cabins at IFEMA Madrid

Madrid, Spain. Global Container (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. will exhibit at CONSTRUTEC 2026, the international trade fair for construction materials, techniques and solutions, held from 10 to 13 November 2026 at IFEMA Madrid. The company will present its range of modular buildings, site cabins and prefabricated modules at Hall 7, Stand 7A35.

CONSTRUTEC brings contractors, developers, architecture studios, installers and building-material distributors together in Madrid. Global Container's proposal for this edition is organised into three blocks: site facilities (site cabin, welfare unit, canteen, storage), modular building (housing, classroom, accommodation) and outdoor spaces (prefab outdoor kitchen).

The commercial team will be available across the four days of the fair to review configurations, panel thicknesses, finishes and delivery schedules.

• Detachable site cabin: a 3 × 6 m module with a galvanised steel frame, 50/75/100 mm sandwich panel and 15/18 mm flooring. Supplied flat-packed and assembled on site, which reduces transport cost per unit.
• Expandable modular house: the module opens on two wings and increases the usable floor area within minutes, with no wet trades.
• Flat roof expandable module: the same expansion logic with a more contemporary appearance.
• X and Z folding container: designed for programmes with high site rotation and frequent relocation.

Certification and European market requirements

For the European market the company works with CE marking and triple ISO certification. Sandwich panels are supplied asbestos-free, with specific verification for the Australian market, and the electrical system carries UL listing for the United States.

Insulation is specified according to use and climate zone: rock wool, glass wool, EPS, polyurethane (PIR) or magnesium board, in 50, 75 or 100 mm thicknesses. For site and accommodation use, the panel and joinery combination is agreed with the client before production.

Capacity, lead times and logistics

Global Container (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. has a monthly capacity of 2,000 detachable units and 300 expandable units, and exports to more than 30 countries. Quotations are issued under FOB, CIF, DDU and DDP terms, with the option of delivery to site depending on order volume.
