Better Living and Working Environments for European Projects

In a market with high standards, a modular building has to earn its place on comfort and design as much as on speed. That reality shaped the message Global Container (Suzhou) Co., Ltd carried to BUDMA 2026 in Poznan, where the company presented a range of modular houses intended to improve working and living environments.

The mission is to support local engineering and residential living environments to a good standard. For engineering and site teams, that means accommodation that is clean, dry and comfortable across a long project, with layouts that make daily life easier. For residents, it means a modular house that behaves like a home, with effective ventilation, considerate roof design and a plan that can adapt as needs change. The detachable container house, the detachable flat-pack container house, the folding container house, the expandable container house and the A-shape and special-roof house each serve a part of that brief.

Improvement comes from listening rather than from adding features. At the exhibition the team gathered feedback from contractors and end users about how buildings are actually used: how welfare facilities are organised, how units are maintained over a long service life, and what makes a space feel considered rather than temporary. That feedback guides how the range is refined.

Reuse belongs to the same mission. A building that can be disassembled or redeployed serves more than one project, which reduces waste and disruption and makes better use of the resources already invested. Choosing a detachable or folding system is therefore both practical and responsible.

Global Container (Suzhou) Co., Ltd left BUDMA 2026 with a fuller understanding of European needs and with a range built to meet them. The aim is consistent: to give engineers and residents a better built environment, expressed through modular design that respects both function and comfort.

That commitment does not end with an exhibition. It continues in how the range is refined over time, in the clarity of the information provided to partners, and in the quality of the buildings that eventually reach a site.
