Product Description
Prefab Outdoor Kitchen for Australian and New Zealand Backyards & Alfresco Areas
Product Overview
This prefab outdoor kitchen is a single free-standing unit that ships folded and opens on site — it is not a flat-pack cabinet run that has to be assembled onto a slab. Two electric hydraulic struts lift and hold the canopy, the folding leaves swing out on 130 mm galvanised hinges, and the whole unit is ready to cook from once it is set down, levelled and plugged in. That distinction matters on an Australian or New Zealand section: there is no concrete pad to pour, no cabinet carcasses to align, no benchtop to cut on site, and nothing to demolish if you later sell the house and take the kitchen with you.
Everything needed to run an outdoor kitchen is already inside the envelope. The unit arrives with its cabinets, marble benchtop, sink, range hood, refrigerator cabinet and oven installed, plus the wiring, a distribution box, an industrial plug connection, LED strip lighting and recessed downlights. The canopy overhead carries those downlights, so evening entertaining works without extra lighting runs across the lawn, and the rear wall is finished in an aluminium composite panel over a steel frame so it will not check, swell or rot the way timber cladding does in coastal humidity.
The frame is built from Q235B galvanised steel tube — 60 × 80 × 2.0 mm posts, 80 × 80 × 2.0 mm and 40 × 60 × 1.5 mm base beams, and 40 × 60 × 1.5 mm / 40 × 40 × 1.5 mm folding leaves — finished in an electrostatic powder coat that stands up to UV and salt-laden air. The floor is an 18 mm magnesium oxide board under a 4 mm SPC decorative surface, which tolerates wet feet and spilled ice without lifting. External dimensions are 900 × 2980 × 2480 mm, and eight complete units load into a single 40ft container.

Key Features
  • Hydraulic strut canopy — two electric hydraulic struts raise and hold the roof section, so one person can open the unit without a second pair of hands or a ladder.
  • Genuinely mobile — because the module folds back into its own transport envelope, it suits rental properties, holiday homes and relocatable housing, where a built-in kitchen run would be a capital improvement you cannot take with you.
  • Weather-hardy construction — galvanised steel frame with an electrostatic powder coat, aluminium composite rear wall and EPS sandwich roof panel over a steel frame, with internal impact-resistant board where trolleys and cool boxes get pushed around.
  • Kitchen already fitted — cabinets, marble benchtop, sink, range hood, refrigerator cabinet and oven are installed at the factory, in the specification tier you choose.
  • Lighting built into the canopy — LED strip plus recessed downlights are wired from the unit's own distribution box, so the cooking zone stays usable after sunset without string lights.
  • Eight units to a 40ft container — the folded envelope is compact enough for volume orders, which keeps per-unit freight down on Australian and New Zealand routes.

Kitchen Fit-Out & Specification Tiers
The carcass, frame, roof and wall construction are the same across every order; what changes between tiers is the quality of the appliance package and the benchtop material. Entry tier suits a holiday home or a rental where the kitchen simply has to work. Mid tier is the usual choice for a primary residence, and high tier is specified where the outdoor kitchen is intended to carry as much cooking load as the indoor one. Because the appliance package is installed at the factory, the tier you choose has to be fixed before production, not retrofitted later.
The benchtop is marble with the sink set in, and the range hood is fitted to the canopy underside so smoke is drawn away before it reaches the seating area. A refrigerator cabinet is included in the carcass, which means the outdoor fridge sits in a ventilated bay rather than on the counter, and the oven is built in at bench height so you are not lifting trays from ground level.

Real Build Photos
The two photographs below are of an actual unit on our production floor rather than a render. They show what arrives: the canopy fully deployed on its two hydraulic struts, the LED strip running the full perimeter of the roof edge, the range hood and the sink set into the bench run, and the under-bench refrigerator sitting in its ventilated bay. The second photograph is the same build, shot on turf with the canopy downlights switched on — the arrangement most buyers want for evening entertaining.
The appliance package on this particular build carries a four-burner grill, a mixer-tap sink and a glass-front under-bench refrigerator. The tier you choose determines the final appliance set, so read these photographs as showing the unit and its layout rather than a fixed appliance list; the carcass, canopy, frame and finishes are the same in every tier.

Delivery, Siting & Site Requirements
  • Ships folded as one module; eight units per 40ft container.
  • Needs a level, well-drained base — compacted gravel, pavers or a concrete pad all work; the unit is free-standing and does not need to be built into a retaining structure.
  • Requires a 240 V supply to the siting position for the hydraulic struts, lighting and appliances; the distribution box is factory fitted and can be configured to the destination market's requirements.
  • Allow clearance around the unit for the canopy and folding leaves to open fully.
  • Suited to coastal and humid climates, where the powder-coated galvanised frame and aluminium composite wall outperform timber or painted steel.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: Are you a manufacturing factory or a trading company? Where is your factory located?
A: We are a direct manufacturing factory. Our plant is located in Zhenze Town, Wujiang County, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China. We welcome global clients and third-party inspection agencies to visit us at any time.
Q2: What is the lifespan of this prefab outdoor kitchen? Is it stable under extreme weather?
A: The galvanised steel frame with an electrostatic powder coat and the aluminium composite rear wall are both specified for outdoor service, and neither will rot, check or delaminate the way timber cladding does in coastal humidity. The unit is free-standing and, once levelled on a prepared base, is stable in high wind; the canopy is held by two hydraulic struts rather than a prop or strap.
Q3: Can the electrical system meet my local country's strict compliance standards?
A: Yes. We regularly export to regions with strict compliance requirements. We can pre-install electrical wiring, sockets, and the distribution box to meet specific local certifications (such as CE for Europe or the requirements applicable in Australia and New Zealand) to ensure fast sign-off.
Q4: How long does it take to install? Do I need professional engineers?
A: No professional technicians are needed for the unit itself. It arrives as a single fully fitted module: set it on a level base, release the folding leaves, raise the canopy on the hydraulic struts, and connect the supply. We provide installation videos and manuals, and a plumber or electrician is only needed for the final connection to local services.
Q5: What is your standard delivery time?
A: Delivery time depends on order quantities, the appliance tier and customization. For standard configurations, delivery preparation generally takes 20 to 30 days after receiving the deposit, plus ocean transit.
Q6: What should I provide to get a customized layout or design scheme?
A: It's very easy! If you have a sketch drawing or reference photo, you can send it to us directly. If not, simply tell us the intended use, the siting position, your preferred appliance tier and any benchtop preference, and our design team will provide a detailed scheme and quotation.
