Indonesia Tropical Expandable Container House: Anti-Corrosion Units for Island Resorts and Nickel Mines
Introduction
To match Indonesia's tropical rainforest climate and archipelagic geography, our newly upgraded Indonesia-exclusive tropical expandable container house has officially entered the Southeast Asian market. Around the four core environmental characteristics of Indonesia - high temperature and high humidity, year-round heavy rain, island termite risks and limited cross-island logistics - the product has been refined with full-dimension customization, precisely serving two core segments: nickel mine industrial camps in Sulawesi and Kalimantan, and island tourism homestays in Bali and Lombok.
Anti-Corrosion Steel Structure for Marine Tropical Climate
Considering Indonesia's year-round high temperature, high humidity and salt-laden marine tropical air, the product adopts a double-layer hot-dip galvanizing process combined with outdoor-grade electrostatic powder coating. All steel components receive no-dead-corner galvanizing treatment, fundamentally preventing rust and paint peeling caused by humid island salt spray. The anti-corrosion and weather resistance of the steel structure is fully adapted to Indonesia's year-round rainy season environment.
Moisture-Proof, Mold-Proof & Termite-Resistant Panels
All walls, floors and ceilings use high-density anti-mold and moisture-proof bamboo-wood fiber boards. Unlike ordinary wood or composite panels, these boards provide waterproof, moisture-proof, mold-proof and deformation-resistant performance. In addition, a food-grade anti-termite agent impregnation process is applied, eliminating termite damage from tropical rainforests at the source and making the unit suitable for unprotected field and island usage scenarios.
Tropical Heat Dissipation & Rainwater-Proof Optimization
The roof adopts a double-layer hollow insulated structure combined with a high-density drainage gutter design. The outer insulated color steel sheet reflects part of the solar heat radiation, while the hollow interlayer helps dissipate roof heat, effectively improving the stuffy indoor condition in tropical environments and enhancing living comfort.
For weather sealing, the whole house uses sealed waterproof rubber strips and an integrated edge-sealing process. Doors and windows are fitted with thickened waterproof broken-bridge aluminum profiles, adapting to Indonesia's intense and continuous rainy weather while effectively reducing the probability of water seepage and wall dampness.
Logistics & Rapid Installation Designed for the Archipelago
In line with Indonesia's scattered islands and frequent short-distance transshipment, this expandable container house adopts a standardized folded-body design. Its dimensions comply with Indonesian inter-island ferry and small truck transport regulations, allowing flexible movement through island village roads and temporary mining roads.
The expansion system uses a rapid hydraulic-assisted structure: only 4 workers and 3 hours are needed to complete the full expansion, fixing and commissioning process, with no large construction equipment required.
Functional Customization for Two Core Tracks
Industrial Version for Mining Camps
The industrial version comes standard with flame-retardant explosion-proof circuits, industrial-grade waterproof sockets and outdoor rainproof distribution boxes. Multiple units can be connected side by side to create staff dormitories, temporary offices, equipment storage rooms and simple medical rooms, meeting the standardized accommodation and office needs of nickel and bauxite mining field operations.
Tourism Version for Island Resorts
The tourism-exclusive version can be customized with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, open viewing balconies and light-luxury interior ceilings, paired with tropical anti-corrosion outdoor flooring - ideal for island camping and light-luxury homestay operations.
Factory Prefabrication & Relocatable Design
All electrical circuits, water lines and piping are prefabricated in the factory. Upon arrival at the site, only basic water and electricity connection is required - the unit is ready to use immediately and can be relocated and reused at any time. This highly suits Indonesia's tourism peak and off-season rotation needs and the cross-site relocation of mining projects.
Typical Applications
- Nickel and bauxite mining staff dormitories and offices in Sulawesi and Kalimantan
- Island tourism homestays and glamping resorts in Bali and Lombok
- Temporary field clinics and equipment storage rooms
- Seasonal tourism accommodation rotation
- Remote field camps without municipal infrastructure
